AIMS is a charity set up to support young people aged 14-18 years, from North Lanarkshire, to have improved confidence, self-esteem, motivation, aspiration and positivity about the future.
Via AIMS support we want young people to feel listened to, cared for, valued, understood, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.
Our tailored mental health and wellbeing groups and projects simply aim to help young people feel better about themselves and from there achieve small steps towards the achievement of bigger outcomes with improved coping and resilience skills.
All AIMS Projects offer a broad range of outdoor activities and challenges, fun activities and educational visits, to promote team-work, trying something new, pushing boundaries, overcoming fears, experiencing achievement and enjoying learning together.
We are committed to empowering disadvantaged young people to have improved life chances and outcomes by supporting them to achieve individual Personal Goals. All our Projects offer a high level of motivational one to one support and small group work with high staff ratios.
